  • Auction description Buy ART, give hope to children in poverty – Online art auction for the benefit of Pelicano – With works by HERR SEELE, MARC GALLE, PHILIPPE BADERT AND KATRIEN ORLANS. From 19 May 2025, Rotary Club Oostende will open an exceptional online art auction via AUCTIM, with a mission that makes a difference: structurally combating child poverty. All proceeds will go entirely to Pelicano, an organisation that gives vulnerable children a future. Four top artists – Herr Seele, Marc Galle, Philippe Badert and Katrien Orlans – each donated a unique work for this charity event. An extraordinary opportunity for art lovers and philanthropists to not only bring a masterpiece into their home, but also to help build a warmer society. The four works of art can be viewed at Woonboulevard, Ringlaan 1, Oostende, from Tuesday afternoon to Saturday. The auction opens on May 19, 2025 at 12:00, immediately after the press conference, and will close festively on May 29, 2025 at 17:00, at the end of a family bike day against child poverty, which will be opened in the morning at 10:00 by Her Royal Highness Princess Astrid.
